ITINERARY
MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY CATTLE DRIVES

JUNE CATTLE DRIVE

This is what you typically could expect on each day of the June cattle drives. This is of course all subject to change. One of the hardest things we have found in doing these drives is in getting the cattle to read and follow the schedule.

AUGUST CATTLE DRIVE

The intinerary for our Auguest cattle drive varies from year to year and is dependent on range conditions and other variables. One difference between the June drives and our August drive is that we are staying at one campsite for the entire week and we trailer guests and horses to the cattle each day. The good news about using the one campsite is that there are shower facilities available each night of the August drive. On our June drives shower facilities are not available the first two nights of the drive but are every night thereafter.

1?!?!?! YUMMY - YUM - WHAT'S FOR DINNER ?!?!?!
MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY CATTLE DRIVES - MENU

Guests requiring any type of special dietary requirements are requested to notify Montana High Country Drivers no later than two weeks prior to the start of their drive so that specific arrangements can be made.
Lunches may vary from drive to drive. Sometimes we have sack lunches along the trail. Other times when the chuckwagon follows closely behind the cattle, we have hot soup or chili, a sandwich, fresh fruit, and a candy bar. Cold water, fruit juice, coffee, tea, and cocoa are available at all times.
Breakfasts include eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes with maple or blueberry syrup, muffins or sweet rolls, French toast, milk, juices, coffee, and generous portions of fresh mountain air!
Cattle drive guests have a tough time going away hungry. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our menu in any way (either before, during, or after the drive), please give us some suggestions.
